An original colourful wall art piece inspired by creativity, freedom and the joy of embracing the unexpected.

Created during a wonderfully restorative season of life, Play was born from a desire to create without expectation. Following a memorable family holiday filled with sunshine, relaxation and precious time together, I returned to the studio feeling refreshed, inspired and ready to simply enjoy the process of making art.

Using alcohol inks and acrylic spray paints on canvas, I became fascinated by the accidental marks, patterns and textures that had accumulated on my worktable over time. Rather than carefully planning the outcome, I allowed curiosity to lead the way, experimenting with colour, movement and spontaneity. Vibrant yellows, joyful pinks, fresh aqua tones and energetic splashes combine to create a piece that feels playful, optimistic and full of possibility.

Created during a year guided by the word Nourish, this colourful art celebrates the importance of making space for creativity, enjoyment and those moments when we allow ourselves to simply see what happens.
